Water polo
Join the fast growing water sport at Samena! The water polo teams will participate in games as we prepare to qualify for the league tournament.
How to Join
Any Samena Club Member in good standing who meets the following requirements may join:
- Be between the ages of 7 – 18 years old
- Must be able to swim 50 yard crawl stroke and tread water for 2 minutes.
- Must, as a family, be willing to volunteer to help with meets, or be willing to pay additional fees to cover costs.
- Members of other Midlakes League Clubs whose home Club does not have Water Polo team may also participate
2024 Season
Parent Meeting & Registration: July 17, 7:00pm
Clinics/Tryouts: July 23 or 24, 11:00-11:45am
Practices: Monday/Tuesday/Wednesdays, July 29 – August 23
12 & under: 9:00-10:00am
13-18 years: 10:00-11:00am
Games: Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays depending on age group
Volunteer Work: Volunteer work is required by all parents in order for your child to participate in the team. Families must volunteer at least three separate times. It is a great way to meet fellow Members and support the team. We need all parents’ participation for a successful season!
Failure to fulfill volunteer hours will result in a $400 fee.
Team Unify Registration
Our team management software, Team Unify, is used for coach communications, volunteer registration, and posting results. Once you have registered via Samena for this season, please also register on Team Unify: https://www.gomotionapp.com/team/recmsstwa/page/home
Team Unify Registration will begin on July 17. Registration is required to participate on the Water Polo team.
